Sorted Water Solutions have designed a highly efficient and safe solution for temporary potable water storage when existing reservoirs are taken out of service for inspections or upgrades.
The design included:
- Temporary tank farm design and installation
- Pipeline design and installation
- Pipe spool design to connect to network
- 3D modelling of existing site
- Chlorination of temporary tanks
The design of the system includes a temporary fire hydrant, isolation valves for each tank and sampling points for each tank to ensure safe potable drinking water is supplied to residents while the reservoir is out of service.
